Ainsi, avec l\u2019OLED, une sorte de feuille lumineuse, la lumi\u00e8re se diffuse sur des surfaces \u00e9clairantes beaucoup plus grandes et leur donne forme. Int\u00e9gr\u00e9e \u00e0 la famille des sources de lumi\u00e8re \u00e0 semi-conducteurs, tout comme la LED utilis\u00e9e dans les \u00e9clairages publics et l\u2019automobile, l\u2019OLED, \u2028\u00e0 la diff\u00e9rence de ces derni\u00e8res, utilise des mati\u00e8res organiques compos\u00e9es de carbone et d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne pour l\u2019\u00e9mission de lumi\u00e8re.
